Legend of the Female General Synopsis and Plot Summary
He Yan was forced, in order to preserve the family title of He Yan the eldest girl of the He clan, to don a disguise and pretend to “He Rufei”, who is the eldest boy of the He clan.
He Yan was a child when he first met Xiao Jue. He had been raised in the Xianchang Academy. In order to escape his fate and that of his family, He Yan resolutely quit the academy.
He Yanrong was sent back to his hometown many years after his brother He Rufei returned. His family accused him for the crime because He Rufei’s return had prompted He Yanrong.
He Yan was able to survive the disaster, and she changed her name into He Yan. He Yan is the daughter the the captain of city gate.
She disguised as a man, and went to Yezhou in order to join the military. Determined to regain everything she had lost, she joined up.
He Yan became friendly with Chu Zhao, a gentle jade. He even reunited Xiao Jue. Xiao Jue, however, suspected He Yan of being a spy. He targeted him every step of the way.
