Justifiable Defense Synopsis and Plot Summary

In the year 2000, Duan Hongshan, a senior prosecutor in the Municipal Procuratorate was in charge of the case of “a domestically violent woman who killed her husband”, Fang Lingyuan, a young prosecutor from the Provincial Procuratorate was appointed to help in the case.

As the two handled this case, they found it was connected in a way to “campus defense case” that Li Mufeng, Meizheng, Jiang Ting, and Li Mufeng were handling by Duan Hongshan 14 years ago.

It’s a tale which is based on factual information that considers the law as the primary criterion and thoroughly considers “natural principles, human feelings, and national laws” in order to reach an exact conclusion.
