Guo De Gang Synopsis
Guo Degang was born on the 18th of January 1973 in Tianjin, China. His home of origin is Shanxi Province, China. A crosstalk artist, screenwriter, director actor, host and performer from mainland China as well as the creator of the Beijing Deyun Society.
Guo Degang started learning about the art of painting in 1979. He began his work at the Hongqiao Cultural Center in 1989. Then, in 1998, he started the Beijing Crosstalk Conference the predecessor of the Deyun Club. He began work alongside Yu Qian in 2000. On June 8, 2004, Guo Degang became Hou Yaowen’s apprentice.
In November 2005 the show was a special one at the Tianjin the China Grand Theatre. The 8th of April in 2006 He gave 25 consecutive encores at”the “Guo Degang-Deyun Society Tianjin Provincial Family Crosstalk Special” and beat his previous record with 22 consecutive encores.
The 3rd of May, 2008 an event to commemorate Hou Baolin’s 90th birthday celebration Hou Baolin. Hou Baolin was held in the Great Hall of the People and was the first artist using crosstalk to perform a solo show within the Great Hall of the People.
