Stand By Me Synopsis and Plot Summary
In the 9th Century Tang Dynasty-generation China, the Emperor is locked in a lethal power war with a group of ambitious eunuchs who wield sizable electricity at courtroom. He strikes returned by ordering the demise in their ringleader Qiu Shi Liang. But the project is botched. The eunuchs get their revenge by means of murdering the Emperor’s loyal first minister, alongside together with his whole own family. But his dual daughters, later referred to as Cheng Ruo Yu and Qiu Yan Zhi, get away. The eunuchs now seize but more energy over the royal court, rendering the Emperor an insignificant puppet. The minister’s two daughters have refrained from detection to date, having gravitated towards very distinct fates.
Yan Zhi will become a part of Qiu Shi Liang’s household and is secretly hell-bent on revenge. Her sister Ruo Yu is on the alternative facet, becoming a member of a group of navy professionals enlisted by young Emperor Qi Yan. The Emperor is decided to rid the scourge of the eunuchs once and for all, and Ruo Yu pledges her lifestyles to help him try this – even though it manner throwing herself in the course of chance. The duo paperwork a romantic bond as they get closer. But will the Emperor nevertheless trust her while he discovers her true identity – and her connection to his mortal foe?
