Dark Night and Dawn Synopsis and Plot Summary

In 1943, a fire in Shanghai results in the first battle of talents among Lu Zheng Yang.

An ally in the Communist underground, Lin Shao Bai is a policeman after the liberation of Shanghai six years later. Lu Zheng Yang who becomes part of the bureau for public security hires Lin Shao Bai after rigorous screening.

The two teams solve major cases in a bid to eliminate enemy agents hidden in the shadows.

The two are always at odds, to being comrades in arms who trust one another with their lives.
