Against the Light Synopsis and Plot Summary

A tale set within the realm of trendy jewelry, the story revolves on a girl who tries to hide her identity in order to uncover an unsolved mystery while proving to be a top jeweler.

In the year Bai Xining was ten years old, her world is changed completely and she went from being an heir of a jewelry business to becoming empty of money.

She is taken in Australia for adoption by the Chinese couple, and is then cut off from any contact with her home country. But, she later realizes that the reason why her mother was imprisoned was due to the fact that she was accused of being framed.

After 15 years, Xining who has earned an honorary degree and a double one by her own efforts and capabilities joins the business which was operated by her maternal grandmother.

She is at the middle of the power conflict among Li Zhuoran and Lin Yi.
