The Heart Episode 1 Synopsis and Plot Summary

Xiao Feng serves as the Deputy Director of Cardiology at Dongli Hospital.

He is introverted, and strict. He works with the impulsive Lin Yi. However, friction occurs due to their differing medical beliefs.

Xiao Feng’s sister, who is younger than him, also receives a job as a physician at the Intensive Care Unit.

Xiao Feng has been the cornerstone of the Cardiology Department for many years. Ren Bai, the chief director at the Institute and other leaders place high expectations on him. Lin Yi recently joined the hospital.

In the past, when he was working at Xili Hospital he would focus only on his surgeries without communicating and collaborating with colleagues.

Cao Nuo Ya, his teacher and immediate supervisor, thought that this wasn’t conducive to Lin Yi’s development, so he referred Lin Yi to Dongli Hospital, which had just opened a heart center.

Fang Xiao Run, Zhou Xiao Feng’s younger sister, applies to Dongli Hospital in order to follow her ideals and to ease the relationship between Zhou Xiao Feng and her mother. She becomes a physician at the Extracardiac Intensive-Care Unit.
