Tang Sword Synopsis and Plot Summary

It recounts the story of a drought that was severe in the first years during the Tang Dynasty. Sitian Supervisor Gao Shengyao was ordered to pray for rain, but was slain by a tyrant. Deputy Supervisor Luo was killed.

The investigation conducted by The Sanfa Department failed, and Long Yan was furious. Gao Shengyao recommended Dugu, the death row prisoner to the saint who was able to be found guilty and awarded meritorious service and was granted five days to resolve the mystery.
