Shun Yi Mother Synopsis and Plot Summary

Zheng Yuqing, who had just changed jobs from an institution that was public to a private company and relocated her family to Shunyi, an area in the suburbs of Beijing for the sake of taking care of her son, who was just starting an independent junior high school, and to support her husband who was in the crucial phase of starting a new business.

After her relocation, she was overwhelmed by the balancing act between work and family, and was unable to change. She soon realized that there were many mothers just like her who had made a fresh start to ensure your children’s educational needs.

Their stories provided her with lots of motivation. Zheng Yuqing tried to learn from them and eventually incorporated into their group. While the mothers in this group with distinct personalities experienced unpleasant events but their shared family’s mission as well as their personal situations allowed them to sympathize with one the other’s struggles.

They supported one another, shared ideas and discussed ideas for education they solved many issues that caused anxiety, shifted the weight of their children’s and family’s education, and built an environment that was stable for their children’s parents who worked hard on the outside. Through this procedure, Zheng Yuqing also found her place in the world and what she was worth and began the new beginnings of her life.
