Sam Quah Synopsis

He was born in Malaysia on the 2nd of August the year 1985. His home of origin was Fujian Province. He is an Malaysian filmmaker and an editor.

In 2014 He directed his first video short “Free Man”, which was nominated to be a finalist for both an Academy Award for Live Action Short Film and the 51st Taiwan Golden Horse Film Awards for the Best Short Film.

In the year 2019, he directed his debut movie ” Manslaughter ” in the same year. In the same year, he directed the suspense-drama ” Detective Chinatown ” with Dai Mo, Yao Wenyi and Lai Mukuan.
