Mie Zui Synopsis and Plot Summary

The play begins with the tale of Ning Zhen, who witnessed his father’s death when he was a kid and his mother’s disappearance also. He was the only person to spot a suspicious person.

The Captain of the criminal police Lu Zheng was brutally murdered to prevent the suspect from committing criminal acts in the future. In the course of time the mysterious symbol was found on the scene.

The symbol of blood-red was deeply embedded in the heart of Ning Zhen the daughter of Lu Zheng Lu Fan, and his apprentice Cao Jin. Since then, the symbol has been referred to as”the “abyss.

The only person to have witnessed this “abyss” becomes the “key” to unlocking the mystery. A few years later after,”the “abyss” reappears, and the fate of both generations is tied once more as if it’s something that will never be avoided.
