Later, I Laughed Synopsis and Plot Summary

The 26 year old Xiaoya works for a firm that makes up a larger group. She accepts the opinions of others and refrains from speaking her opinion. She makes people feel at ease, but she is uninterested. In the opinions of others, her life is good and she has a steady job and a lively companion.

But, Xiaoya realizes that she is trying to be accepted by the society. When Zheng Hao, her boyfriend takes over Xiaoya’s work change, as well as her wedding proposal and housing, without her involvement, Xiaoya finally stops being silent.

The woman was drunk at the time and the incident was an unintentional accident. The contents of her unintentional complaint against her boyfriend was a source of laughter for the crowd as well as the crowd of friends that wanted to build a career out of the talk show. Xiaoya discovered a stage where she could express her feelings in a way that’s authentic and happy. This opened the way to a new way of life.
