Go East Episode 2 Plot

Yuan Mo and Wang Kunwu started investigations on their own and bet that they would help Ashu to obtain the registration of his family in Dayong to see who could uncover clues in the arms investigation first.

After a series of deductions and calculation, Yuan Mo finally found the location of the Kudile Gang and also found the map that linked Nanshan with Ashu confirming that the real motive of the assassin was to kill the Minister Tan Lin. Yuan Mo and Wang Kunwu collaborated for the stoppage of an assassin’s murder of Tan Lin, but because of Yuchi Hua’s oversight the plan was rewritten and the scene became chaos.

In the fight with the assassin Ashu was wounded to help Yuan Mo, and Yuan Mo returned to the home of Yuan Mo to care for her in exchange for Ashu. In the meantime, Wang Kunwu found the ivory of the assassin’s corpse and realized that the assassin was in an intense connection to the faceless man. This also brought back memories of his deceased comrades and the man who was faceless.

Within the Sifang Pavilion, Wang Kunwu’s popularity grew significantly due to his efforts to save Minister Tan. Because of different ideas about work and ideas, the conflict between Wang Kunwu with An Xiuyi, a servant of the East Courtyard, continued to grow.

Yuan Mo won the bet with Wang Kunwu, but Wang Kunwu incorrectly identified Ah Shu and made Ah Shu his official maid which placed Yuan Mo in a dilemma. An Shaoqing and the owner of the pavilion talked about the previous history and explained Yuan Mo’s background.
