Erlong Lake: Blossoms of Hometown Dreams Synopsis and Plot Summary
It tells the tale of Zhang Hao, a city security guard who brags about his glamor before the people in Erlonghu near his home town. To make up for his deceit the man must become a business guru and bring in the “huge investment” and return home with his team.
The team meets with his childhood love Li Minghan, who has completed his graduate studies and is dedicated to the development of his village and the revitalization of rural areas.
The two individuals are extremely different in their original goals, working ways, and educational levels. In the unique backdrop of the rural Northeast China, they collide with one comedy burden after the other.
As the dream of the entire village Zhang Hao was a shrewd mistake, he became the standard “chicken baby” object of the entire village. However Zhang Hao who is adamant to succeed, but lacks knowledge and business skills naturally turns into the “dish” of the scammers.
