Brother Synopsis and Plot Summary

The play tells a story about Lin Hao – a young Han Chinese man from Xinjiang – and Harik – a young Uighur whose paths crossed in 2013 on the Daidao Road, a land that was uninhabited.

They are in constant competition. Learning from one another and becoming brothers. The two took part in many rallies so that they could achieve their shared dream of being professional motorcycle racers. Despite the trauma they suffered from losing friends and physical injuries, neither one of them gave up on their dreams.

Lin Hao and Harik were finally able to stand on stage at a professional motorcycle rally of world-class quality with the promotion and help of Hao Qiang (town cadre) and Xilin (town cadre), and the families of both and the people of Xinjiang.
